You should add Captions to your streams to make your content more accessible to all! I made a video & a guide covering options for streaming & for all platforms. 🤍

Video thumbnail. There is a stream capture with captions at the bottom. There are logos for the follow social media in the top left corner: Youtube, OBS, Twitch. There is a selfie of Pink Umbrella smiling at the camera.

I’m making a browser extension called Safe Badge to let you know which Twitch streamers have disabled Gen AI training. This is an honor system as there’s no way to verify it. But it’s better than nothing. The extension isn’t finished yet but you can give yourself the badge here: safebadge.ori.mx

A screenshot of the browser extension showing the Safe Badge next to a streamer name. The badge is labelled “Gen AI disabled”. The icon displays as a green circle with a diagonal line through it.

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

Anyone know of job opportunities in NDN Country looking to hire a Graphic Designer/short form content/Social Media Manager? Would love to continue to work and use my creativity within our Native communities 🤙🏼 tag or DM with info, thanks!

i've seen two posters from my band offices (in 24hrs) using gen ai "native" artwork, one being my late uncle's design which they have permission + vectors to use. there are so many talented artists in our communities, reach out to them instead of teaching gen ai our designs 😭
