They found a slab! The hot water had a slab 🤣 It was buried about 30 cm below ground level though. The next bit's on me. I have to pour a slab so they can bring us a new hot water system, asap.

Morning 🦋 I'm restless🙃 Wait mode has been activated since 10 pm last night 😝 Can't sew because my arm & fingers are absolutely cactus so I'm outside, searching for caterpillars 🐛🦋 Have found many insects in my tree. Even a crane fly as she got caught by a male 😱🫣🤫

This #ChequeredSwallowtail is 8 mm long now 😍 In my nursery, I have three Orchard Swallowtail caterpillars and 15 Chequered Swallowtail caterpillars as well as two Richmond Birdwing chrysalis & one Monarch Chrysalis 🥰🦋🦋🦋

If you've ever wondered what a baby mistletoe looks like 😍 I now need to work out how I can sustain it because the silly little bugger germinated on a fallen branch & I believe that they need a living host to survive on 🤔

Gave myself a change of scenery so I mowed the lawns. The dip in the pool afterwards was brutal 🥶 I think we'll need at least another week of warm weather before I dive in again 😝

The Chequered Swallowtail caterpillars are growing 🥰

The project so far 😊 I'm using the grey fabric & felt I bought at the tip shop & the jellyroll I had in my fabric stash for well over 15 years. Am still torn that I'm using it but it's getting easier to do these days. Otherwise nobody would ever see how pretty that fabric is, locked in my cupboard.

I caved & used fabric glue. Always frowned on it, having learned, from a very young age, that gluing fabric is a cheap & nasty shortcut. Except, glue has evolved & times change & I really need that item secured so I can stitch around it. But, it still makes me feel like I've angered my ancestors 😬

How have I only just worked this out😱 I've been quietly swearing at my glasses, I can't focus up close, despite telling the optometrist what I use them for Today I realised, the way I work isn't the way other people work, my glasses are calibrated for arm's length, not AuADHD, comfortably scrunched🤦
