Thanks! Actually the colors do bleed together a bit but I mix a little “print paste” into each color (although I really don’t know what it actually does) but since I’ve always used it and the colors turn out nice I figure if it works keep doing it. ☺️ I paint the prepared dye on with a brush.

Aww, thank you very much! 🥰 Yes, I did all the tatting on the jacket. Some from vintage patterns, the “angel wings” at the top yoke are a pattern by Elena Kozinenko (FairyLaceAndMore on Etsy) and the triangle shapes are my own design. Will show the front when sleeves are done.

Finished tatting one cuff, one more to go! My plan is to remove the “too long” part of the sleeves on my jacket that I’m decorating with tatting so the sleeves will end with tatted lace cuffs. #tatting

Have started the 3rd row of the pattern (no. 92 from “Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito”) and learned that each section (gray color in my sample) needs to be done separately, cut and tie after each. #tatting

I’m doing bobbin lace today (Monstera Leaf pattern by LacyBotanics) which is much more beautiful than my attempt. I enlarged the pattern 115% but the size 40 Lizbeth thread I’m using is still too thick it seems. I’m pressing on anyway and am loving it! 🥰
