Finished tatting one cuff, one more to go! My plan is to remove the “too long” part of the sleeves on my jacket that I’m decorating with tatting so the sleeves will end with tatted lace cuffs. #tatting

I’m doing bobbin lace today (Monstera Leaf pattern by LacyBotanics) which is much more beautiful than my attempt. I enlarged the pattern 115% but the size 40 Lizbeth thread I’m using is still too thick it seems. I’m pressing on anyway and am loving it! 🥰

I did finish these stunningly elegant earrings and I love them! They’re surprisingly lightweight. I found the pattern in the Italian magazine pictured (note: I changed the stitches between picots on outer row from 7 to 5) and I’m pleased with the results. #tatting

Jars of fiber reactive dye open in the colors I use for a batch of my hand dyed thread “Mardi Gras”. Many different shades of purple, green, and gold are blended to make the resulting thread colors richer. I always wear a face mask 😷 when working with open dye powder to avoid breathing in the chemicals.
