2/ Researchers analyzed data from 4,000+ Connecticut residents who survived an opioid overdose. The results are clear: ✅ Methadone and buprenorphine significantly reduced the risk of another overdose. 🚫 Inpatient rehab/detox alone, without meds, showed no independent benefit.

Her research explored how Plasmodium falciparum invades red blood cells—and how future malaria vaccines can stop it. 🧬🦟 She did much of the work in a remote lab in Kédougou, Senegal, using genomics, structural biology, mathematical modeling, and CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing.
