www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn-4... This is probably the best Sonic Xtreme remake I've seen yet. Mainly because it's actually trying to be a game rather than a straight remake of the later SonicPC builds.

For whatever reason, Youtube keeps recommending me these right wing political rant videos that all have soyjaks in their thumbnails. Just complete slop. 🤦‍♂️

I stopped playing for a bit, but I picked the game up again and got to Youngtown. I also tried fighting R7037 and got absolutely thrashed.

I drew depression cat again but got really distracted by the boulder.

drawing of Katia Managan from Prequel Adventure sitting on a rather detailed boulder, with a box of sweet rolls and a bottle of milk next to her on either side. in the background is the wall and gate house of Kvatch. she is wearing her mage robe, and is looking downward toward the ground

I feel like they should rename SAGE to something else. Most of the games that are shown off there aren't related to Sonic.🤷‍♂️

XyDark @xydark.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I'm assuming they're adding things that were removed from the original game, as the original had manual jumping up until a few months before release. It was removed since the devs wanted to simplify the games controls and since they don't have that limitation anymore, I guess it's making a comeback.

Every so often I think about the time my dad said "Oh yes, the USSR." when he asked this guy who was buying a TV from him where he was from, and the guy said he was from this city in Kazakhstan. He technically wasn't wrong, but he was a few decades out of date.

I'm a bit conflicted here considering it is technically peer reviewed according to him while also being vibecoded at at the same. Overall... idfk 🤷‍♂️

Reading the replies and quotes here has only emboldened my opinion that most people online see the word "AI" and then go insane. I don't even like most types of AI, but this is clearly not a issue considering it's not vibecoded.🤦‍♂️

Looking at old GCs from when I was 13-16 and seeing how much of a massive edgy asshole I was for literally no reason. No wonder people fucking hated me in certain communities >_>

I highly doubt we'd be getting ethnically cleansed considering they'd need workers for their new resource colony. In any case, If the US ever invades us and somehow doesn't fall into immediate civil war afterwards, they'd most likely bring in a bunch of settlers to fully "Americanise" us.
