In a word, it is simply magic to receive a letter and cards from poet and artist Joel Pederson, @xxyxxy.com on the eve of Poet's Day. Thank you Joel.

A local friend is an aspiring painter. He's absurdly affordable, and would be absolutely stoked to paint a landscape from your original image! If you want to support someone who could really use it, and get a painting out of it, check out his site: yourpaintedimages.com #gouache #painting

Oh I do like this! This is the second time I've had post arrive at the pub for me, first time from Edinburgh, this time from SAN DIEGO CA! I do believe that Lemmy had all his post sent to his local as well, it's the way to go! Now let's see what's inside Joel Pedersen @xxyxxy.com

A sweet! I was curious when it would arrive. Please pass on thank you's to the staff at the Horseshoes for their willingness to be the kind go between. I find the notion of sending to a pub very cool, and I'm so glad you got a kick out of the small pieces!

I gotcha. I was really asking if you shot with a lens like this: camera-wiki.org/wiki/Mirror_... because that circular bokeh seems like it would come from that lens type.

That bokeh. Is that a mirror zoom?
