A European data center is useful. It does not magically make your stack sovereign. Jurisdiction, portability, self-hosting, provider independence and the ability to keep operating all matter too. Sovereignty is less about coordinates and more about options.

An export is not the same thing as portability. Pages may move. Permissions, links, history, macros, workflows, and structure may not. Vendor lock in becomes very visible after you decide to leave. A credible exit path matters as much as an entry path. #switch #alternative #european #opensource
