GOODNIGHT TAEK, ENJOY THE SLOPPY BLORBO FUCKING 🤭

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

I'm so sad I can't play anymore bc I miss Sylus and the flavour he brings but alas

010

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

one thing about me is that I'm quiet until you get me talking about shit I like... then I never shut up 💀

040

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

I just say that that's the "foreplay" to lead up to the trope LOL

120

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

there was that one thing where it was like... text based story and you had stages and stuff + it branched out, I did that a lot too!

110

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

Maybe it was bc you were behind on the main story? Honestly I'm really not sure how I got so far but I know I leveled his cards and prioritised them every chance I got, doing the voiced things, playing games w him, the planetary battle thing (I can't remember the name it's been like 2 yrs lol), +

120

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

bonks you Your fics are delicious, it's totally worth reading even outside the smut and kisses!! You deserve ALL the praise!

120

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

I was completely f2p! I just... really got sucked into the game whilst being in a bad relationship HAHAHA the other three weren't neglected either, Sylus was just my highest leveled and tbh playing for a while each day meant that I leveled up pretty quick 😅

110

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

Man I didn't even get to that, when they added Caleb the game outspaced my phone 💀 I was a Sylus girlie and at max level within 2 months of playing LMAO

110

Hope 🦋 @xtobefreex.bsky.social · 9h

Burned the shit out of my fingers trying to change wax from a wax burner that was already going (I use one w the light candles to warm the wax) but it's all good, I burned myself taking the lit candle out of the space and then cleaning the hot burner 😅

⚫️🔴⚪️ Two Days 🔴⚪️⚫️ In today's #WIPWednesday, Yin Yu is starting to become concerned about Hua Cheng's strange new attachment to his computer while he's at work. I wonder what he could possibly be watching—or who? 👀 #tgcf #hualian

Wip Wednesday Story Card for my new Hualian Fic "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass."

The card reads as follows:

"WEDNESDAY
Yin Yu stood on the opposite side of his boss's two-million-yuan desk, preparing to go over his schedule for the second week of October—tomorrow was the beginning of Golden Week, so they would all be on vacation for the next seven days—armed with his tablet, a heap of paper correspondence, and an epic frown.
While he considered it an enormous privilege to work as the executive assistant to one of the best criminal defense attorneys in Xianle City, over the last few weeks, Hua Cheng had been . . . distracted, and Yin Yu was starting to become concerned.
Sometimes, Yin Yu would catch him staring off into space in the middle of drafting a brief.
Other times, he noticed Hua Cheng seemed unusually enamored with his computer—a necessary evil of his profession that he claimed to despise—at odd moments throughout the workday.
After stealing a peek over his shoulder earlier today, Yin Yu was able to gather that Hua Cheng was watching some sort of video stream, but he couldn't quite make out the content.
Pressing his lips together, Yin Yu let out a furtive sigh.
He really hoped it wasn't porn."

The title of the fic is in the upper left hand corner along with the author's name.

At the bottom of the image is the fic's release date: Friday, October 9th.

Story summary card for the Hualian Modern AU Fic, "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass," by Charis using the blurred cover art as a background.

The story is rated Explicit and is inspired by Hyperventilation.

Summary:

Meet Xie Lian. 26. Single. Chronic lung condition.
Now, he’s a professional Weiqi player, but back then, he was Class Three’s Biggest Loser.

And this loser has nursed an eight-year-long crush on Class Golden Child, Hua Cheng, who is now one of Xianle City’s most famous—or infamous—criminal defense attorneys.

In the wake of a championship game, Xie Lian receives an impromptu invitation to a class reunion. Believing this to be his one chance to finally show Class Three that he’s not the same sickly kid they remember, and maybe make that love connection he’s been longing for, Xie Lian is devastated when Hua Cheng arrives with a silver wedding ring on his finger.

But when an intimate conversation in the dark leads to a surprise kiss and a tempting proposition, Xie Lian, who has spent his life predicting outcomes and calculating risk on the weiqi board, thinks he knows exactly what kind of game he and Hua Cheng are playing.

He’s never been more wrong.

On the bottom is the release date for the first chapter: Friday, October 9th.

Hua Cheng is on the left standing back to back with Xie Lian on the right. They are standing in front of a sun and moon. The red string of fate connects the two of them through hands on their hearts. They are glancing over their shoulders at each other longingly.

if anyone has some hualian fic recs they'd like to share I'd love to hear them, I'm okay with literally anything but 1) hualian cheating on each other, 2) pairings that break hualian or add onto them, and 3) fics that start with them actively being with someone else (prev. relationships okay ig...)

⚫️🔴⚪️ FOUR DAYS 🔴⚪️⚫️ Chapter One of my new #hualian fic "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass" arrives Friday, October 9th, at 9:30 PM ET! #tgcf Be sure to subscribe to me on AO3 so you don't miss it! archiveofourown.org/users/CerysB... (Art by @_neal_3000 on X/Insta)

Illustrated ink wash fanfic book cover with a red background depicting Xie Lian and Hua Cheng from Heaven Official's Blessing/TGCF leaning toward each other over a weiqi board.

On the left, Xie Lian has his hair styled in a loose bun, and he's wearing black slacks and a white, high-collared, ruffled shirt with lace cuffs; one hand is gently tugging a few strands of black hair.

On the right, Hua Cheng, with his hair down, is wearing a red dress shirt and black slacks.

They both smile faintly at one another, their lips meeting in an almost-kiss.

Both men's hands rest on the board that is strewn with red and white flower petals.

Xie Lian's hand touches a white stone while a red stone rests between Hua Cheng's hands.

The side of the table where the weiqi board sits is also strewn with red and white flower petals. On the right side lays a red flower.

The author name "Charis" is in the upper right hand corner, and the fic's title, "Corner is Gold, Side is Silver, Center is Grass" occupies the open middle space between the two men.

to be fair i think that that can be the best way to get the most out of your fandom experience, especially because things like top/bottom preferences (just for example) can be extremely polarising in fandoms and i wouldn't enjoy seeing a bunch of discourse in a server when it was meant to be chill 😭

Gentle reminder that it's always ok to say to an artist you asked for commission their price are in fact out of range for YOU. But please don't ghost or tell them it's too pricey, even worse harrass or belittle them, art is a luxury and most of us are in fact underselling ourselves.
