self indulgently making this about hualian from my 'deflowering the mango tree' universe. Set between chapter 3 and 4 Hua Cheng can feel the precise moment Xie Lian loses consciousness and goes slack in his arms. He's unnaturally hot, uncomfortably so. He'll need a cold compress and some meds stat.
