"How can you not be angry?"

"I am angry," the werewolf said "but unlike you, I don't have the luxury of showing it without being called a monster. Without someone taking it as a sign of proof that I need to be put down like a rabid dog, that I'm just like what the stories tell you."

"But everyone gets angry... that's human."

"Up until the point when you're not human."

everyday on this website I encounter unwell people making dangerous claims like “I’m going to play through the entire 3DO library” and instead of directing these individuals to emergency services or calling local authorities, other users of this site celebrate them, reenforcing unhealthy behaviors

Delightful also to hear real eagle noises. In movies eagles are always dubbed with hawks, since hawks found fierce and eagles sound like adorable squeakers.

Opinion on the harpy variety with arms plus wings? — with normal arms and wings, the only real difference from, say, an angel, is the legs. not bad, but doesn't really feel "as" harpy. not that it like, matters. alterspring.org/@Xkeeper/a/1...

my late-to-the-party take on RPG random encounters is that pokemon gen 2 pretty much got it right. there are clear areas they happen and do not happen. soon into progression you get or items that temporarily or permanently reduce encounters below your level.

Please keep submitting issues and starting discussions. If you'd like to take on some work, comment on the relevant issue first. I read everything, keep an eye on the feed, and act on anything pressing when I can.

I don't want the open source project to be a second-class citizen. I value every contribution, and I want to be much faster at acknowledging and reviewing them. As Fluxer grows, I hope I won't remain the only person responsible for all of this. For now, I can't turn myself into a team of 30 people.

Thanks for sticking with me while I work through it.

this is absolutely not a slight on the fluxer person (as one fellow does-it-all host to another: i am honestly impressed), but that also means i am woefully familiar with the issues that sort of thing brings up, and for a real-time mass-chat platform: l, m, a, o. hoo lordy.

not that i need any more convincing, but apparently fluxer is completely maintained by one person right now? to which, holy shit lmao yeah i am absolutely not migrating to that ever until it has an actual real support team behind it.
