I wish I could work on the monsters for a JRPG someday, but anyway I animated this Final Fantasy iron giant a while back. I was just kind of going on YouTube studying the various appearances of the recurring iron giant enemy type and the common attacks they use (typically a strong downward slash)

One hour landscape doodle for work (minus the flying squirrel). Doesn't take so long because it's just a random landscape (compared to drawing architecture concepts like a castle or cathedral). It's also grayscale, and there's some copy pasta. Just little freelance speed hacks to know. #pixelart
