‼️ PSA for pixel artists!! If your image uploads are turning out blurry, please make sure you are NOT exporting your pixel art at 400% resolution. The Bsky WEBP compression algorithm severely blurs pixel art exported at this resolution, making it an unreadable mess. #pixelart

I need this energy going forward because it’s so hard for me to stay positive about anything art related at my current age.🥲

Four panel comic. Are you sleeping? Yes, now shut up… Tolkien didn’t start LotR until he was 45, you’re doing just fine….

A mini magical tunnel system~ Based off an old idea I had for an underground city/dungeon, may refine this later. Extras in alt text~ #pixel_dailies Theme: #TunnelSystem #pixelart #ドット絵 #pixquare #fantasy @pixeldailies.bsky.social

Ant sized adventurers delve into the underground tunnels beneath the night forest: the entrance is marked by a ring of mushrooms around a larger rock.
The main tunnel down opens up to two paths: the left leading to a pool with lily pads and little huts, as though it’s an inn or hot springs. To the right path, there is an intense crystal chamber, a grand gemstone castle in its depths. It could pass for a boss chamber full of treasure, but glowing that eerily, and right at the entrance…? Surely not a magical illusion trap.
A wooden bridge connects the two chambers, hanging over a chasm leading down to layered water pools and more chambers below. Adventurers have set up a rope to scale down, one adventurer still hanging on the rope, staring longingly at the crystal castle. Below, the paths split to more chambers— the other two adventurers heading to the lower left chamber. One has spotted a treasure chest behind a waterfall, while the other has charged further into the lower left, revealing warmer rock pillars and golden ore to mine.
The mid right chamber leads to a series of plainer stone huts, a village, perhaps still inhabited? And the lower right chambers are carved by shimmering crystals, that seem to be turning the water a dangerous texture…

Made a game mockup inventory screen for my Kumiho~ For #monthlypixels Always loved a good JRPG status screen from the Tales of series with a pixel character bust. Need to make more of these~ @monthlypixels.bsky.social #pixelart #ドット絵 #aseprite #pixquare #OCart

A screen showing Pixel Mage Kumiho’s inventory and stats. Starting with a full health and magic bar, an equipped magic staff, a shield spell. Then her items: a magical black opal, pointy witch hat, mage robes, glasses, a laptop, an iPad, a Tourbox Elite Plus, a notebook, and a cup of coffee.
The Kumiho stands at the side of the status screen in a neutral smile, hair tied in a braided style, wearing the mage robes and glasses, arms folded behind her back. Her fox ears twitch up, and her multiple fox tails flow behind her.

‼️ PSA for pixel artists: AVOID uploading pixel art at 400% resolution on Bsky. 800% resolution is a safe bet due to the way WEBP images are compressed. Update v1.121, which increased image sizes, has changed how WEBP images are displayed. (my art below, 400% on the left and 800% on the right)

Pixel art of Gay Dau (OC belongs to @toktonki) at 400% resolution. The WEBP encoding makes this image look like a blurry mess, with many of the pixels blending into each other.

Pixel art of Gay Dau (OC belongs to @toktonki) at 800% resolution. This image isn't as affected by compression artifacts, making it the intended way to view this artwork.
