xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 20/04/2026@infinata.bsky.social hey there - I'm working on a follow-up to the NJO doc atm, focusing on material afterwards and authors' views. In researching this, it's become clear you were in the story meeting for LOTF. I have to ask, with your love of Marvel, was it you who suggested the return of Lumiya? 120
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Just wanted to reply here - this now exists. ^.^ Thank you again for your footage, some of which will also feature in any upcoming documentary I'm working on. www.imdb.com/name/nm18100...imdb.comBilly BuehlerBilly Buehler 110
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 29/01/2026That's right! Kevin also chatted about it in May of 1996 - early fan forums were abuzz. 030
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Ah the YJK show proposal. Rumors kept swirling for a few years even after it was shot down. KJA and Rebecca chatted about it here some in 1999. Could have been cool for sure. Just goes to show that running into a random Fox Kids exec in a restaurant can (almost) pay off. 😄 040
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 29/01/2026This is neat to see over here. :D Last fall I got to ask Paul Dini (Batman TAS) if he might have been interested in working on it back then, but he said he was glued to DC! Though the YJK show proposal never got further than an informal Fox Kids pitch, I still think about it sometimes. 040
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 24/01/2026Happy to share today that the NJO documentary series has been added to IMDb - feel free to leave a rating or review if you checked it out! www.imdb.com/title/tt3929... 052
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 14/01/2026@michaelastackpole.bsky.social hey there! I just wanted to follow-up and see if you still were game to chat? I would love to have your voice in this production! Setting up some of the final author interviews now - would just be about a half hour, maybe in the coming weeks sometime, if doable 000
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 10/12/2025Awesome! I'm looking to release it in early 2026, so having a chat in Dec/Jan would probably be the timeline I'm looking at. I can be flexible with what works with you. How would you like to set it up? I can chat here but I'm also available through DMs or email 000
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 08/12/2025@michaelastackpole.bsky.social Hey there Mr. Stackpole - I wanted to reach out and say that I'm a big fan - lately I've been putting together a followup to the NJO documentary, getting interviews from Zahn, Luceno, Tyers, and others - was wondering if maybe you'd like to sit down & interview for it? 140
xezene @xezene.bsky.social · 05/12/2025Thanks to you for being basically the only one anywhere saying it was real! That was the clue. ^.^ 111
