Welp, new roadblock. So much for a simple fix. What does that even mean? Ugh. I'm just trying to get back to a workable state -_-

Xenstroke @xenstroke.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Update, my base assumptions was correct. turns out cpu was fried. However, they surmised that it was caused by a short in motherboard. Which surprised me. So, i guess the first the next plan of action is replacing the motherboard

4 and a half hours till the shop closes and hadn't heard anything yet. Gonna give a little longer before I just call.

Xenstroke @xenstroke.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Well after doing everything I could think of, brought it to a shop. Let's see what they say.

Needless to say, might not be some streams for a bit. In the mean time I'm seeing what I can do with my old pc. Avi work and art on hold as well cause... yea.

Xenstroke @xenstroke.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

So heads up, I'm gonna be semi out of commission for an undetermined amount of time. Been troubleshooting since getting home and nothing I've done so far has made a difference. Still working to figure things out and hoping after having someone check it, that is not an expensive fix.

I understand the want to share info you may have just found out yourself, but please read the room and understand. There are many other ways to go about it.

Xenstroke @xenstroke.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Y'kno what's not fun? Havin "X person has passed" get dropped in stream chat while you're having a pretty decent time in funny, not serious, kart game. Wanna take the mood out the room? That's certainly a way to do it. Please don't do this. You have no idea how it may effect those that are present.
