What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), dir. Robert Aldrich. J The real Davis-Crawford feud bled into filming. A fight scene left Crawford with real stitches after Davis kicked her. Only Davis was Oscar-nominated; Crawford never forgave it. #BetteDavis #JoanCrawford

U2 turned 50 on Sept 25. 50 years since Larry Mullen Jr's note went up at Mount Temple School, Dublin, 1976. Marked it with two surprise gigs: schoolyard, then Bewley's balcony on Grafton St. (Also once crashed Springfield, Trash of the Titans, 1998.) #U2 #Dublin #U2at50

Charlie's Angels premiered on ABC 50 years ago today. Executives thought it was one of the worst show ideas they'd heard then the pilot scored such huge ratings they aired it again to make sure it was real. Biggest freshman hit until ER broke the record in 1994. #CharliesAngels

Paramount + Warner’s real challenge isn’t buying Warner. It’s financing it. Debt, integration costs and 30–32 films a year vs. Disney’s ~15 across its brands. Owning Hollywood is one thing. Paying for it every year is another. #Paramount #WarnerBros #Disney

Six-year-old Lian Yunzhi broke the women's 3x3 Rubik's Cube world record twice in three days at WCA-certified events in China — averaging 4.52s, then 4.27s. First woman ever to average under 4.5 seconds. She's mastered 1,300+ algorithms, training 2-3 hours daily. #RubiksCube

Fatal Attraction (1987), dir. Adrian Lyne. $14M budget, $320M+ worldwide. The scripted ending was scrapped after poor test-audience reaction, reshot months later with a different climax. Glenn Close fought the change for two weeks before agreeing to it. #FatalAttraction

Mars Attacks! (1996) reunited Burton and Elfman after a falling-out since Batman Returns. Elfman scored it with two theremins and choir, deliberately parodying 1950s B-movie sci-fi — the same sound that made 1951's The Day the Earth Stood Still iconic. #DannyElfman

All About Eve (1950): Bette Davis got the role only after Claudette Colbert dropped out with a back injury. A fight with her husband the night before shooting left Davis's voice raspy — she kept it for the entire film. It earned a record 14 Oscar nominations. #BetteDavis

A Clockwork Orange (1971): the title isn't about fruit. Burgess took it from old London slang — something that looks alive on the outside, clockwork within. His teen slang Nadsat mixes Russian and Cockney rhyming slang, with zero glossary in the novel. #AClockworkOrange #Kubrick
