People who have gotten #SSDI, how long did it take for you to receive your first payment and/or back pay after being approved? According to SSA, I'm disabled since 10/2024. That should give me a decent chunk of back pay. I was approved about a month ago. It's still processing. --Maho

FND is one of the conditions we have an explanation card for - because the condition itself can affect peoples ability to think - and explain - clearly, and it can affect speech. Plus other people often find it really hard to understand so having a ready-made explanation can make life a lot easier.
