Tactical voting only "works" if there's an actual difference in the political parties. If enough MPs (or policies) switch to the winning team just before the whistle blows then there is ***no material difference***.

Messing around with the supercomputer/HPC config this week to get NVIDIA's P2P working with some GPU nodes. - HPC coincidentally goes down. Was it me? Surely not. - Admin fixes it. - It breaks again 3 hours later 🤦 Yep! It was me! 😅 Whoops!

Robots.txt needs an update for the 2020s. Instead of just saying what content can be indexed, it should also grant rights. Like crawl my site only to provide search results not train your LLM.

Absolutely - the DDOSing was hilarious. Talk about billionaires testing in production! I think what really got to me was the fact he continued the lie and was increasing the rate limits gradually when he probably would have figured out what was going on by then.

Line graph time series of global sea ice extent for every year from 1979 to 2022 using shades of purple to white. 2023 is shown in red and is currently a record low for the date. There are several seasonal cycles visible and large interannual variability. A long-term decreasing trend is also evident, but there is only coming from the Arctic climate change contribution.

Funny thing is, Musk would have angered less people if he'd just said that the rate limiting was a temporary thing while he "negotiates a new cloud provider deal", instead of pretending it was some grand plan to stop web scraping.
