Tactical voting only "works" if there's an actual difference in the political parties. If enough MPs (or policies) switch to the winning team just before the whistle blows then there is ***no material difference***.

Oh thanks for that predicted comment @github.com Copilot 😂 I get enough doubt about my coding abilities internally without having the averaged-jumble of humanity's programming skills judging my crimes.

A screenshot of vscode showing a bash script that eventually runs a long ssh command. The (as yet unwritten) comment above that will explain the command is being predicted by GitHub Copilot to be "# The following command is a bit of a mess, but it's the only way I could get it to work."

Messing around with the supercomputer/HPC config this week to get NVIDIA's P2P working with some GPU nodes. - HPC coincidentally goes down. Was it me? Surely not. - Admin fixes it. - It breaks again 3 hours later 🤦 Yep! It was me! 😅 Whoops!

Robots.txt needs an update for the 2020s. Instead of just saying what content can be indexed, it should also grant rights. Like crawl my site only to provide search results not train your LLM.

Line graph time series of global sea ice extent for every year from 1979 to 2022 using shades of purple to white. 2023 is shown in red and is currently a record low for the date. There are several seasonal cycles visible and large interannual variability. A long-term decreasing trend is also evident, but there is only coming from the Arctic climate change contribution.

Funny thing is, Musk would have angered less people if he'd just said that the rate limiting was a temporary thing while he "negotiates a new cloud provider deal", instead of pretending it was some grand plan to stop web scraping.
