Not as deep into Big Two #superhero comics as I used to be. I pop my head in once in a while. When I have, over the last 4 years or so, I find that #Marvel's getting boring (MCU influence), but #DCcomics is getting weird. And WRONG. Not even in an interesting way, more like a #WTF kinda way.

Have ya heard?! It's #JennyEverywhereDay!! Celebrating the Open Source character known as The Shifter, here's two of my entries that have already gone up over at jennyeverywhereday.com SD versions of my "usual" Jenny and fledgling Shifter, Jennifer Ba Bei, from my webcomic #ZedVsTheWorld.

My original version of Jenny Everywhere:
A lovely lass of Chinese descent carrying the umbrella that I'd startd equipping her with about 6 years or so ago. Her customary white scarf with green fringe, plug earrings and tattoos adorning her upper arms and navel.

Jennifer Ba Bei, a younger, Afro-Asian version of The Shifter from my webcomic, "Zed Vs The World". A dark-skinned cutie with curly afro-puffs held by pink scrunchies, wearing overalls an a pink neckerchief in lieu of a Jenny's usual scarf. The goggles remain, though. She also has faux ivory ear piercings and an "infinity symbol"-ish white tattoo on her upper arms.

Supervillains Lioness and Sidewinder run from their botched hit on the mayor at super-speed.
On their way out and around the building, they spot the mayor after she was rescued by Spectral of the Chicago Ultras and decide to take a second shot. Spectral uses her density-shifting power to stop Sidewinder with a clothesline maneuver, which sends Lioness flying face-first into a light post.

Saw He-Man & #MOTU yesterday. No masterpiece but still pretty fun. Chock full of that self-satirical ModCom buffoonery but I'm used to it & my only REAL complaint as a cranky #GenX original fan was "resolved" in the literal last minute of the movie (before the post-cred scene.) A solid 7 outta 10.
