I've interviewed more than a dozen hydrologists and climatologists across the West the past 10 days. A sense of panic is starting to set in. Wildfires and water shortages will start mounting this summer. Adverse impacts are expected from not only this heat wave, but the historically warm winter.

Our EV has a dent on the back bumper because one of the daycare moms backed her tank into us. She couldn't see our car behind her and just ran right into it. "Sorry it was beeping at me and I didn't know what it meant." 🙄

One was a wheat farmer and cattle rancher who served in Korea but never talked about it. The other worked a lot of odd blue collar jobs over the decades but always would rather be fishing.
