More testing on the add-ons. There are rotating shields and three upgrades that are dropped when hit and can then be recollected. Even when starting with six shields, the player ship is hit many times, they don't make the game too easy... #gamedev #indiedev #gameplay

Game-play idea: When you get an add-on, it also acts as a shield. If you get hit you loose the add-on, but if you are fast you can turn back and collect it again. #gamedev #indiedev #gameplay

Sprites are made combining SDF shapes. The albedo, normals, AO and emission maps are generated and combined. #gamedev #indiedev #animation #sfd
