… trolling aside: I was a stupid person before I started seriously studying history. And I’m still pretty dumb, but at least it’s an informed dumbness, which isn’t as bad as stupid. Education is as much about preparing for a career as it is becoming better at being a person.

I think that evaluation is a little self-contradictory; if this change was due to Mormons being highly educated, wouldn’t this change have happened long ago?
