After looking into the film and Michael Winner on Letterboxd, I don't think I've seen a director who's collection of films flip almost exactly upside down if you sort by average rating vs. popularity. A guilty pleasure I guess.

This has sent me down the rabbit hole. Small Beer Press, Easthampton Mass (beautiful area) and they run a book shop I now have to visit - Book Moon. Northampton has always been a nexus of good bookstores and the Berkshire foliage will be in its glory in a few weeks so thank you for the idea!

Too early for a victory lap but this is a somewhat rare, clear perspective on the nature of the current battle. I know there is no equivalence between parties but as a lifelong Democrat, I'm pretty fed up with the party and have felt deserted for too long.

Americans are backing progressives not because they want socialism, but because they want candidates who will fight for the working class

I finished my years as a bartender at the Four Seasons in Newport Beach and had the bad luck to be off duty the night Plant visited the bar, but my coworker claimed he was the nicest celeb he'd met there. Also didn't meet any really rude ones but some that were very full of themselves.

Haha, sorry, we're playing by social media rules. Amuse-bouche, bar crawl, down and dirty and reverb I'll take. I like Codswallop other than it being accompanied by the suggestion that we are the same age.

Codswallop.. hmm, I know I'm old but didn't realize I was a contemporary of Shakespeare.

Already a Kinks and Andy fan so this would qualify as required listening I guess. Saw the Kinks in 79 or 80 in Germany and is one of the cooler things I have on my permanent record.

Our daily nightmare continues and there is more blood in our streets. It gets so overwhelming at times that it's hard to cope and I know I'm not alone in that. I had so much hope that the midterms were an opportunity to, if not turn things around, at least buffer some of the worst of it.

My mother's next door neighbor growing up was named Richard Seaman (not sure of the spelling). She always giggled when she related that.

It would be great if the discogs functionality were accessible for other media. I may have a slight hoarding problem when it comes to films, books and music myself. I know people use letterboxd to catalog their films but as much as I love that app, it's not perfect for cataloging.

I had a similar notion 5 - 10 years ago (best I can do, time moves funny as I get older). At the time I was recommended "Library Thing". I didnt use it enough to give a useful opinion but it did seem to be the one people would point me towards most.

An uncle pitched for the Giants and was a friend of Shulz's. I didn't know that until I read an bio of my uncle (John Sanford). I wish I'd had the opportunity to talk to him about Schulz as Charlie and the gang were companions and comfort for a kid growing up in the 60's that moved every two years
