My last day at the Farmer's Market yesterday. The rainy season is upon us and rain and paper don't play well together. Bittersweet indeed.

And there came from the den of the paper crafter a familiar cry: "I JUST HAD IT!"

Feeling vaguely homicidal today so instead I present cards I made yesterday. Besides, I look horrible in orange. #papercraft

Times are getting a bit tough on my end, and having some work lined up would help immensely. If you have any need of editing or sensitivity reading, please keep me in mind!

Been busy of late, good, bad, and ugly. The good - more cards, 31st anniversary. The bad - damn near crippling fatigue, BEDBUGS! The ugly - diabetic eye appt complete with dilation (ugh!) and referral for biopsy and possible cancer on lower eyelid (double ugh!). Take a look. #papercraft

Hey pals… A good friend and coworker was recently diagnosed with cancer and is out of work for treatment. It really sucks. His brother has started a GoFundMe to help (because American unaffordable healthcare), and I’d appreciate any shares if you could www.gofundme.com/f/support-cj...

For Americans saying, “What do you expect us to do?”. This. This is what the world expects from you. Except A LOT MORE of you. Looking at the video it’s obvious to see that it’s mostly people from immigrant backgrounds protesting. Immigrants doing all the hard work again.

Heads up, Bookworms: There will likely be💀supply chain issues💀 this holiday season. So if there are specific books you have your heart set on for holiday gifting, I strongly suggest you buy/order them ahead of time (✨like now✨) rather than waiting until November/December.

Spent the day at a crafting event assembling all of the pieces I'd prepped this week. While I hate prepping, it makes everything so much easier. The little pieces with the penny for size reference...gah! #papercraft

Hi, I'm Xander Odell, I write, make greeting cards, and eat all the chocolate. I love the classic saxophone riff from Bob Seger's "Turn the Page". Others have tried to copy it, but Alto Reed did it best. Accept no substitutes.

Not as many cards as I might like. The dragon cards were made with two new (to me) dies. The balloon alien was made by a fellow vendor at yesterday's Market who though "that you needed a friend." And the water is a reminder that sometimes there's no rush to get home. #papercraft

For the past five months the only refugees the USA has accepted are white South Africans fleeing equality & safety meanwhile they are disappearing or strapping ankle monitors on any Haitian they can get ahold of. It needs to be understood how thoroughly connected these two things are.

Still here, still making, still swearing at paper (pretty sure the last one is a given.) Not being on social media is rough but still a good choice. Some of my recent creations, more cards in the comments. #papercraft
