Honestly I'm lucky to be at an inclusive and yes liberal school, where we support trans kids and respect their new names & pronouns, but we definitely don't mutalize them. 😂

I've always loved it - I think he was pushing back against impossible poetic descriptions of beauty, and describing a love that's more real than all the other sonnets. Not sure everybody would hear it that way, though. 😁

I sang along to these lyrics once while looking into the eyes of a girl I had just started dating. She told me later she almost dumped me that night. Instead, she started listening to his music and then she got it and then we got married and heard him play this in Ireland on our honeymoon.
