I kind of feel like there was a baked in tendency to plan out new features better, like maybe with a UI/UX person in the mix, because the dev part was hard. Now that the dev part is "easy" we are all just beta testers for whatever idea pops into a developer's head.

I really like my KitchenAid dishwasher, but it's only ~5 yo and I had to replace the fill valve and circulation pump right before Christmas. And don't get me started about the 2 yo whirlpool microwave that's over my range and is now just an expensive chunky ventilation hood. New appliances suck.

So if she loses, they say she has to forfeit everything that is potentially "ill-gotten" over the life of the loan (presumably 30 years) rather than just what she actually has gained? I mean 18K is a relatively small number anyway, but I guess 3 or 4K just seemed like small claims territory.
