Mud from the indie animated Glitch YouTube series The Gaslight District added as a Mii character in the Nintendo game Tomodachi life. He is front facing, utilizing the in game face paint feature to give him his likeness. He has an exposed cranium. His slime green goopy skin that drips down his chin resembles a goatee. The goop partly covers his mouth in thin strips. He has rotten yellow misshapen teeth bared in a mischievous lopsided grin. He has a skeletal lack of nose and pronounced cheek bones. His eyes are very large and ovular, sporting deep eyelids and eyebags that are a darker green than the rest of him. His sclera are an off white yellow, and his pupils are bright red and smaller. I’m sure there are a lot of parasocial glitch fans. But many poc fans are very rightfully upset about the clips that have been unearthed. Expecting basic human decency from creators isn’t the same as “putting them on a pedestal”. Racism shouldn’t be diminished to being “flawed like everyone else”
