I think it's really important to tell people what they mean to you while you still have them. To openly express your adoration of a piece of art or writing or sculpture or music. Please be sure to tell people if you love their stuff.

I've said it a bunch of times, but Slay The Princess was a small side-project that Black Tabby did to take a break from this monster. Each of Scarlet Hollow's chapters (5 currently, 7 planned for the final release) has a total word-count comparable to every route of Slay The Princess combined.

Me paralysed with executive dysfunction as this convention approaches, paralysed with anxiety bc I haven't started print restocks and my ordered keychains etc haven't arrived yet. Me: Why don't I start the most ambitious project for a product I've never sold before right now? What a fantastic idea!

Being a multishipper in newer fandoms with young people that don't understand the concept of knowing your ship isnt destined to be canon is rough like what do you mean you think shipping Pomni and Caine is stupid BC Caine's an AI- I HAVE SHIPPED OTHER FANDOM CHARACTERS WITH SENTIENT CLOTHING BEFORE

Actually you know what, let me just

A still of the character Chihiro in the film “Spirited Away”. A character called No Face is offering her a pile of false gold that has been edited and overlayed with the logos of Claude, OpenAI and Grok. She is saying, “I don’t want any. I don’t need any.”

Me: Wow the character in this fanart/fic is so severely mischaracterised. Don’t like that, I’m scrolling Also me: “Welcome to my Tomodachi Life Island!! Here you can see I made a Mii for myself and Slenderman, and we’re married and in love and live in the Slender Mansion together!”

My polite and effective way of saying this is this screenshot and a heavy handed but gentle stare at…quite a few of you.

post from tumblr:
I need a polite and effective way to say "hey your heart is truly in the right place and your anger is often righteous but I think sometimes you're getting recreationally mad about things that are frankly not worth the amount of energy you're spending on them, and every time you do this you're driving yourself slightly more insane with nothing to show for it," and then I need a way to broadcast that message through a loudspeaker to roughly 30,000 people at once, and THEN I need a time machine to send that message to my past self lol. and maybe a second time machine in case past me tries to be clever and sabotage the version of me who comes through the first Time Machine

Watching a band/group you’ve always been a huge fan of slowly become slaves to AI slop and not respond to people trying to educate them is so disheartening. Like, you’re an artist?? How are you unaware of how this also affects YOU? And how do you not care???

Happy 1 year to the show that reignited my love for drawing!! I’ve made more art in the last 12 months than I think I have in my entire adult life combined, and I have TGD to thank for that. So excited to see where this show goes!

Feeling sentimental over #thegaslightdistrict on the eve of the pilot’s first anniversary. This show came to me in a very lost and tumultuous time in my life. And while I still navigate it all, TGD has given me a lot of joy and a sense of community.

Nothing quite like working in retail and selling merch for adult animated shows and a SMALL CHILD recognises it and is a fan… especially when the parent is right there. Don’t even get me STARTED when the parent is fully aware of what the show is
