I just watched the final episode of Sparks of Tomorrow and I loved it. They really leaned into the psychological horror aspect for the climax in a way I absolutely adored. I went into this anime with zero expectations, but it ended up being one of my favorite series of the year.

But I think most of all Sparks of Tomorrow excelled at being fun while having something important to say. It didn’t get bogged down by the darker sides of its story and instead embraced the comedic sides. I eagerly awaited a new episode every single week.
