I do find it very difficult to talk about Indian cricket these days. The grip the BCCI has over the entire cricketing world, the way that cricket is used as a tool for propaganda both in India and amongst the diaspora, and some of the individuals in the game are all incredibly off-putting.

It's very important to make the argument City shouldn't be relegated but should be expelled. The EFL should get to choose whether it takes them and at what tier. The bad faith dealings have impacted many sides that are currently EFL teams.

So, so happy with how the young lads did today. Koumas was spectacular, Rio dangerous, thought Nyoni and McConnell were great at what they needed to do, and Jacquet played like he was 5 years older. Macca back to his best, thought Gomez and Kerkez looked solid, Mama gets his first positive game.

Really struggling to remember a performance where he comes out any better than net neutral. Most of his performances involve at least one "he should have done better" moment. Here he keeps them at bay for a while and keeps us in the game and in the lead, but then that is just not good enough.
