Dass die Polizei den Querschnitt der Bevölkerung abbildet, glaube ich auch. Im Artikel steht allerdings nicht, dass 25% sich mit mindestens 7 eingestuft haben, sondern dass ein Viertel rechts der Mitte sei.

Fast ein Viertel der Teilnehmenden verortet sich laut Studie politisch rechts oder rechtsaußen. Die Teilnehmenden sollten sich auf einer Skala von null, also "links", bis zehn, also "rechts", einordnen. Wer sich bei sieben oder höher einsortierte, wurde als "rechts" oder "rechtsaußen" gezählt.
