I'm really excited to try this art challenge made by @louixie.bsky.social! Life tends to get in the way of daily art challenges for me, but the pace for this one seems much more manageable :3 Happy spooky season, everyone!

I like to look up meanings for names when creating characters and NPC's, and for a laugh I looked up my parent's... My dad's (who I'm close with) name means "wolf's sheild", and my mom's (who I have a complicated relationship with) means "foreign" or "stranger" I am literally screaming.

Working on the design for an upcoming DnD PC! Imala is a smilodon tabaxi hailing from a snowy mountain town. I'm planning on making her Dex-focused, but I wanted her physique to reflect her sturdy big-cat origins :) Still needs some tweaks, but happy with how it's coming along!

When the towers were hit, I was in math class. Our teacher got pulled into the hall, and soon we could see all the teachers huddled together, some crying, some angry. My teacher was usually unflappable, but the look of tearful horror on her face when she returned is burned in my memory.

Wore a dress and heels for the first time in a minute to work. Normally, I just wear dress pants or jeans, but I'm now vividly reminded why I stopped wearing heels; I rarely feel so empowered and in pain than I do wearing these fucking things.
