Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design. news.sky.com/story/the-x-...

Absolutely! He was a very intimidating character and no doubt used that fear to silence any accusations. He was a spokesperson for the NUT so carried considerable clout. Just like in Jimmy Savile’s case, people would have known or at least had an idea what was going on but feared speaking out.

He taught me in the early 80s. He was a nasty narcissistic bully back then. He must have become emboldened over many years by his control of kids and the fear he instilled in those around him eventually indulging in his sick perversions.

A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK... 78% are murdered by a partner/ex Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this Not once have I heard them back measures to protect women’s safety In fact, they voted against them...

Well given the UK accounts for so many of the totals, and new parkruns popping up regularly - three coming up near me, Rhos on Sea, Rhyl and Flint, I’ll fully expect the records to be shattered in April. Great to see more and more people hopping on board the parkrun train, a true force for good.

How strange, just as the weather gets cooler wetter and windier in Britain. Numbers at my local parkrun were down considerably last Saturday but there were running events happening locally. Bank holidays in April and August are traditionally the busiest. Global participation must be increasing.

If Labour voters, in a historically secure Labour stronghold, wanted to keep Reform out, they would have voted Labour. They didn’t because they’re desperate for change. So much for Eluned Morgan’s Liz Trussesque power speech… “Bring it on“ indeed!

Not strictly true, many would have voted Plaid as so many have become disillusioned by a Labour Government in Westminster ever creeping further right, and an ineffective Labour Government in Wales who have been in power for 25 years.

Plaid Cymru today held a debate on coal tip safety. Not a single Reform MP bothered to turn up. As they head to the polls tomorrow, voters in Caerphilly should remember how little Reform care about Welsh postindustrial communities.

Hmmm, possibly. Grunge was certainly partly a reaction to the ridiculous pomp of what hair metal had become, at least in attitude and style. When 40 year old blues rock legends started emptying several cans of hairspray into their barnets (David Coverdale anyone?) the end was always in sight.

They are trying to normalize cruelty and violence. We cannot allow it.
A tweet from Alison Cook reads: “The kids are alright.” The attached photo shows a young woman sitting on public transit holding a protest sign. The sign reads: “WHEN CRUELTY BECOMES NORMAL, COMPASSION LOOKS RADICAL,” with the words “CRUELTY” and “COMPASSION” written in red and the rest in black. Sunlight streams through the train windows, showing a brick building and blue sky outside.

If it was the other way round, the IDF would have promptly turned up and executed dozens of Palestinians. Terrible headline by the BBC. Is it fear of condemning Israel or sympathy towards their violent aims that’s behind it though?

She claims it was an unprecedented move to ban away fans from attending a match when there are loads of examples of such measures being taken for safety reasons. Undermining the WM police who have clearly considered carefully considered the situation. Shameful politics.

Indeed, a nasty politician. Her comments resonated with supporters of Welsh independence too, demonising the Catalan people, who whilst peacefully campaigning for independence, were brutally assaulted by the authorities. No surprise that she’s still twisting the truth to serve her own narrative.

Immigration isn’t devolved. Voting Reform at the Senedd Election because of small boats would be foolish. Devolution means that some issues are in Welsh Government control. You should look at those issues, check manifestos, and decide who’d best serve Wales’ interests. Spoiler: it’s not Reform.

Noticed that ITV news have dropped the ‘Hamas run’ when mentioning the Gaza Health Authority when reporting on the number of deaths & atrocities committed by the IDF but the BBC persists. Clearly a means to discredit and cast doubt on the source. Shameful by the BBC with war crimes being committed.

NEW: While mainstream news goes wall-to-wall on a performative Iranian attack that harmed no-one, Israeli forces have shot dead another 33 starving Palestinians queuing for food. Aid as bait, death by firing squad. Posting this here because I’m fucking sure you won’t see it elsewhere.
A body is seen lying in a make shift stretcher pallet. His bones are protruding from his chest a testimony to starvation. Blood is all over the pallet and his arms and clothes. Photo credit to the Palestinian Telegraph.
