No, it couldn't. EU countries don't even like the Switzerland-style arrangement that Switzerland has. There is no appetite to expand it to the UK. And, after the UK threw away its membership at Putin's behest, I doubt anyone will offer them anything other than a standard deal with no perks.

It does seem like it a lot of the time, doesn't it.

300 zł a day means a Ukrainian visiting family for a month has to show 9k at the border. Net minimum wage here is about 3.6k. We built a good chunk of our growth on these people's work and now we want bank statements at the door 👎
