When you take a transit vehicle with strangers, there is an inherent trust you're giving to one another. That trust in each other is so essential to the health of our larger society and our democracy.

When we start to drive people away and send messages that that shared space is not a place to be, you're going to see our institutions and our societal structures start to dismantle. I believe in CTA not just for Chicago, but really for our country.

Same, immensely fond of that sweaty little guy. I actually thought he'd beat the odds despite everything like he had throughout so much of the film, which is why it hurt so much to see him finally succumb. And directly due to the actions (and inactions) of a company which viewed him as disposable!
