Update: The decision was made to delist all of PoI's published books from Draft2Digital. The process has begun. What does that mean for you? Those books are no longer available for purchase on Smashwords or Bookshop, but you still retain any copies purchased. I've got my thoughts below. 1/4

When you put your life in the pot, you better make sure you've got a good hand. "Gritty, tense and fantastically paced." "Plenty of suspense, scheming, rapid fire dialogue, and ultra violence."

It’s 2019 in Woodswaite, California. Summer is almost here. And so is the killer. He kills with buckshot, and his methods are cruel. Worse than anything in Woodswaite’s history.

Mia Cooper is a high school senior and acid dealer. She was already flunking out before the brutal murder of her childhood sweetheart. The police have a suspect—the chief’s own brother-in-law—but she doesn’t trust cops.

When Mia and her best friends take the case into their own hands, everything spirals out of control. The bodies pile up while the police chief races to clear his brother-in-law’s name. But will he find the true perpetrator before Mia and her friends become the next victims?
