apropos of nothing: all art, regardless about how you feel about it or if you find it yucky, should be legal to make. saying otherwise sets an extremely dangerous precedent and they will come for you and your squeaky clean queer artwork too (they are already trying). you are not immune.

✨ One of the expression memes I did for practice last year and ended up coloring : > Ren has a good grip on his feelings, so his expressions are either very subtle or over the top, cuz he breaks. His features are plain and his expressions show mainly via his eyes/brows. (blank meme template below)

literally- spent so many years not using refs bc people insisted it was "cheating" only to experience an insane improvement after going to college for art & understanding that thats BS and you /need/ to use references to learn.

I hate generative AI art, I google “sad cat” to express my feelings and it’s all AI cats NO my feelings cannot be summarised with a fake cat, I need a real sad looking kitten perhaps doing a pathetic meow

and it'll be over in a minute Alternatively titled; I didn't have any edge in my teenage years so I'm having it now. 🔪 Perhaps I'm slightly romanticizing this moment of theirs, but it's for the sake of ART. // #oc #art #OCsky #blood

Drawing of two characters, one is kneeling down on a puddle of blood and holding his friend's head on his lap. The said friend has his neck and shirt covered in blood as he reaches his hand up on the first character's forehead. Big part of the background is white and empty, with the characters on the lower end. The image is in black and white, except for the blood that is red.

illustrated concept art evoking classic dark 1980s animated fantasy movies, that shows the four hobbits as little animated mice

illustrated concept art evoking classic dark 1980s animated fantasy movies, that shows Aragorn(a coyote), Gimli(a hedgehog), Legolas(a white/yellow hare)

illustrated concept art evoking classic dark 1980s animated fantasy movies, that shows Bilbo and Frodo as little mice, recreating several moments from the series- Frodo's sword, Bilbo in The Hobbit, Frodo trying on a bracelet-sized ring

Because it’s going around like the flu, if you are ever contacted by someone claiming to be an artist hitting YOU up to commission THEM, report them for scam and block them *immediately*. Don’t even engage one word. The culture goes: Client contacts the Artist. Never: Artist cold calls Clients.

Use fucking invoices. I don't care what your excuse is for not doing this. You need to use invoices. It protects you from scams like these and it makes your taxes easier too.
