Also these two are never sniffing main story status again, they’ve been relegated to the Video Game Dimension for all eternity, you can just let them be gay it’s okay

whenever anyone does a Caulifla/Kale piece at least half the replies will either be incest jokes or serious queries why you’d draw two sisters like that Look I know the stereotype is DB fans don’t read but you gotta learn this at some point.

Funniest part of DB Super was when they added a very clearly gay character, but because not many English speaking viewers are familiar with peculiarities of JP queer culture/history people assume they’re sisters instead. “But she calls her sister” yeah man it’s a thing, its chill I promise

Hahahaha, when I got a job a few years later I made sure to grab an ps1 order an official copy from Square Enix’s store directly, I’m sure all is forgiven. (idk if they still do this but I bought a ps1 copy of FFIX on their store in 2021 LOL)

I dont know if my super got read today (it’s chill btw) but: I didn’t play FFVII until I was a senior in high school, in 2016, on a laptop emulator. I did The Nibelheim flashback at a friends house. Maybe the worst way to play FFVII and it STILL landed for me. It’s SO cool.

I finally got to meet the girl I drew. It’s truly an honor to see her here, and I’m incredibly grateful to Nintendo for giving her a place in this world. #nintendomuseum #anothercode

That “Getting a lot of Boss Baby vibes from this” tweet really did capture an entire phenomenon in such succinct words.

Perhaps the greatest injustice in the history of the universe is that Tharja Fire Emblem is not a real person I can kiss and marry in real life

Being a subrosian gotta be the most peaceful existence ever there because all other races are always suffering because of evil forces, but subrosians are just chilling in their hellish dimension, so besides the heat of living surrounded by lava, i would just be a little hooded thing enjoying life!

Mario RPG is a great game! But of course people who grew up on Newgrounds were gonna think he was the coolest thing ever: this was how he was being drawn. Take note of how everyone else is also drawn that way. Geno is just the only one that might plausibly actually be that cool.

I do think his aura is given a significant boost when the first thing he does after coming to life is wandering into the forest maze with the really good music. I still believe a handful of dedicated Newgrounds animators convinced everyone that Mario RPG was way more epic and serious than it was.

Don’t think Inafune was involved with it. Reportedly the DMC team figured Dante was done with his story and they wanted a new guy, but marketing was spooked considering how people responded to Raiden in MGS2. Hiroyuki Kobayashi was the one who said “either Dante is playable or it’s not shipping.”
