I got a “bonus” day at AC2024 thanks to Hurricane Beryl knocking the Houston airport offline. It felt really odd walking around the convention center, many times completely alone.

Well booking my room for TFF was more stressful than I expected! Also, they didn't seem to have the king suites in the block this year. The double queen ones are 2x the price of a regular double queen room, so... no suite this time and no chance of getting the same room 3 years in a row!

My first annual pass that my friends gifted to me in 2010 was about $550. They felt bad that I had to spend a small fortune just to join them on the trip so they covered my ticket. I wasn't expecting them to buy an AP but they planned on me joining them again before it expired. They were right!

My grandparents saved a ticket from my first trip to WDW with them in late 1984 and it was something like $40 for a 3 day pass. That'd be about $130 now and wouldn't even cover a single day ticket. 😭
