Art commission time! Here's my drawing of an adorable little floof who sadly passed away recently. Hopefully they're napping on the best cloud in the sky.

A long-haired cat resting on a soft blanket. The drawing is done with black ink on white paper. The style is more on the realistic side with both small etchings and longer strokes depending on the hair length. Textures like the blanket and nose use cross hatching.

Everyone in my company just got a raise, which is great! I'm thankful! I REALLY AM. But! They kinda hyped it up in a way that, upon the actual raise hitting, feels super disappointing and almost insulting given the percentage. ESPECIALLY with this damn economy the way it is.

Just watched the new Resident Evil! After the reviews I've seen I knew I'd want to see it, and it held up! Very campy, doesn't take itself seriously, gore-for-the-fun-of-it goodness, with a lot of humor. You can enjoy it without knowledge of the series, too. 👍

My sister introduced me to gaming through Super Mario Bros. 2 and the original Dragon Warrior (Quest). I've loved platformers and RPGs ever since.

I remember waking up on 9/11 and walking down to our living room. My parents & grandparents were all watching everything unfold on TV. I'd watched for only a few minutes before the first tower went down. As a 14-year-old it was frightening, especially knowing war would likely come after.

I feel like Pokémon peaked back in the Black & White/Black & White 2 days. Though I've *enjoyed* each game since then, I feel like each one is lacking in some particular way and never feels like a complete experience. I remember feeling really depressed last Summer after visiting home. Most anyone I used to hangout with didn't live there anymore, and those that did were too busy to socialize. I spent a good chunk of my life there and it felt like I had nothing to show for it. It was really crushing at the time.

Look at this fella! You can definitely taste the alcohol at 10.5% but it's also really sweet and savory. Went great with a spicy bagel.

A vanilla cinnamon stout poured into an IPA glass. (And I call myself a beer snob, sheesh). It's cola in color with a caramel-colored head of foam an inch thick. The can has simple, black and white art of two crows, with the beer's name, "Attempted Murder," sitting below the first crow's feet. Though not pictured, the artist signature is written in red, giving the appearance of a blood stain below the second crow.

It's a picture of me! But in grayscale. I'm wearing a polo shirt buttoned to the penultimate button. I have barely visible flat earbuds that make it look like I have robot ears. One side of my head leans, almost like it's melting, to the left, but that's just how my skull looks, bro. Also my mustache is curly and frames my boyish smile.

I am back from seeing the new Evil Dead! I am both disappointed that it was not as campy as I would like, and also disappointed that it was not as gory as I would like, if it disregarded camp. Some sort of weird middle ground that was just average :(

We use AI for hiring at my job and it is the stupidest system I have ever used in my entire life. Whenever we do interviews it always starts out with "sorry about the AI thing, it's dogshit." The only people who say everyone needs to use AI are those who, without it, are soulless, talentless hacks.
