Like... this is already basically real. You can only borrow digital games for 2 weeks at a time, and only one account can use it at a time. If you all pitch in to buy it and take turns sharing it from the same account, it's exactly how it's described in the article. This is not satire.

There's another shot at 9:17 that really shows just how DLSS 5 messes with lighting effects. You can see this really nice foggy clearing in the forest over here. There's some really spectacular lighting effects happening to set a moody forest atmosphere. And then DLSS comes along and destroys it.

These are from @digitalfoundry.bsky.social 's video about DLSS 5 (timestamp 9:46). It's difficult to see in these screenshots, but in motion it's quite clear that the lower right quarter of this screen is covered in the moving shadow of a passing cloud. DLSS 5 removes this nuance in its entirety.

money people are dumb, can't even read a graph that shows that the largest amount of negative reviews since launch were posted after the game was taken off steam (launch window reviews 94% positive). I'm sad I missed my chance to buy before it was taken offline.

Steam releases have been full of slop for a while now, but never have I seen such audacity as to charge $30+ for it. Each of these (Somniphobia not included) is also hiding the true developer, as they are each published under a developer and publisher name that are the same as the game name.

a list of 8 games, 7 of which (Echo Leap, Friendly Duel, Toot Adventure, Pixel Cavern Quest CandyNight, The Bear Frontline, Backyard Battle) are priced $29.99-39.99, all released on the same day. The game banner pictures are also AI art. The 8th game shown is Somniphobia, a free game published by Digipen.
