The most Republican thing ever is to claim you suddenly care about affordability by giving a speech at a yacht club.

Just in case it wasn’t clear, when they say the U.S. Government’s paying for this, that’s YOUR taxpayer dollars they’re using. I’ll say this as many times as I need to: it is ILLEGAL to use American taxpayer dollars from the government to pay for candidates’ or parties’ political ads.

NEW TROY JACKSON AD 🔥 Susan Collins spent years perfecting that “reasonable moderate” act. Then ProPublica dropped the receipts: A defense contractor funneled $150,000 through a shell company to a pro-Collins super PAC while Collins pushed for $32 MILLION in naval contracts.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but another way of saying "research performed without research ethics approvals in place" is "unethical research." (I do know who needs to hear it. I just peer reviewed their paper. And I'm going to need everyone to do better)

We should make a push for mass cancellation of Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Peacock, Paramount, HBO Max, Amazon Prime and Apple. They have all increased their prices as people are struggling to pay rent, groceries and gas. Guarantee you they'll respond to a massive boycott. All they care about is $$$

NEW: Attorneys for CNN/MSNOW ask for emergency court hearing, arguing their journalists are still being denied access to White House 1/
A screenshot of the first page of a federal court filing titled, in bold and underlined text, “REQUEST FOR IMMEDIATE HEARING.” The document is in a case against “Donald J. Trump, et al.”

The filing says that earlier that morning, the court issued a Temporary Restraining Order directing defendants, except President Trump, to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” White House hard-pass press credentials held by employees of CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO that were revoked on or around September 18, 2026.

The plaintiffs state that despite the order, journalists from CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO attempted to enter the White House that morning and were turned away. The filing alleges that Secret Service agents also confiscated hard passes from journalists whose passes had not previously been taken. It specifically says plaintiff Betsy Klein, whose hard pass had been confiscated on September 19, requested its return but was denied and refused access to the White House complex.

The filing emphasizes urgency because CNN is scheduled to serve as the television pool for President Xi Jinping’s visit to the White House that evening. It concludes by stating that plaintiffs’ counsel contacted defense counsel that morning and asked to call the court together, but defense counsel had not responded. Page number “1” appears centered at the bottom.

Last night, watching the coverage of this media ban, I said to my wife that I could only imagine what kind of total incompetent lawyer the DOJ would send to defend this case. Never thought it would someone this horrendous, but of course I'm not at all surprised it was a neo-Nazi.

German chemist Dr. Ida Noddack co-discovered Rhenium (element 75) in 1925. She died #OTD in 1978. She was the first to propose the concept of nuclear fission (1934). Her theory was met with fierce skepticism and outright dismissed by contemporary physics giants. But 4 years later...🧵 #WomenInSTEM
A close-up, black-and-white portrait of Dr. Ida Noddack (1896–1978), the pioneering German chemist and physicist who co-discovered the chemical element rhenium and was the first to propose the concept of nuclear fission in 1934. Dr. Noddack is positioned at a slight three-quarter angle while turning her face toward the camera, establishing a direct connection with the viewer. Her light-colored hair is styled neatly, swept up and away from her face in a soft, textured wave arrangement typical of the mid-20th century. Her expression is composed and contemplative, marked by a subtle, knowing half-smile that conveys an aura of quiet confidence, intelligence, and academic resolve. She wears a simple, dark-toned V-neck blouse or jacket, drawing focus directly to her facial features. The portrait is set against a completely dark, minimalist background devoid of any objects or setting context, creating a formal studio aesthetic. The lighting is soft yet deliberate, illuminating the left side of her face to emphasize her expression while casting gentle shadows across her right cheek. The composition relies on high-contrast monochromatic tones and a grainy, vintage texture characteristic of early photographic film, reinforcing its archival and historic nature. The overall mood is dignified and deeply intellectual, honoring her enduring legacy as a foundational pioneer of nuclear and atomic science.
