When I was a kid, I thought my stuffed animals had feelings. But I got over that. I think that we’re dealing with something similar here. They’re so proud of their creations that they project qualities onto these things.

Mine has a parking garage. Nevertheless, I continue to boycott. They make it easy because they never had shopping carts or cashiers and they’ve locked up virtually anything one might want to buy in glass cabinets.

I can walk to a Safeway, but I do a weekly shop by car that involves both said Safeway & an organic co -op. That’s mostly about meal planning & time efficiency me. I hate having to run into shops daily. Would probably only tolerate it if I literally lived directly over one.
