I called Suresh last week assuming we'd have a good-faith discussion. I liked him over the phone. But he's misstated my answer to a question, won't correct it, and separately admitted to me that he's willing to mislead on social media. I don't really get it, but won't engage further with him.

So this is weird. When Suresh and I talked on the phone on May 16, I told him I voted to impose the payroll tax for social housing. He said “OK” and moved on. Only 1A (which I voted for) imposed a payroll tax, as Suresh knows.

Social media is addicting our kids, while AI increasingly threatens our jobs, environment, and privacy, while flooding our discourse with fake information. If we’re going to do anything about it, now’s the time—and as long as Trump is in office, the state legislature is the only place to do it.
