Dou·la (noun): A trained, non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a person before, during, and after childbirth to ensure a safe and empowering experience.
While birth and postpartum doulas are the most common, abortion doulas, adoption doulas, and death doulas also do incredible work!

SB 139 was introduced by Senator Nguyen. Nevada is the ONLY state that criminalizes self-managed abortion after 24 weeks. The bill repeals NRS 200.220, a zombie law from 1911.
