Today I noted due to my memory condition I’ve already lost all functional memory of my beloved dogs who passed in 2021. I remember having them. I know academically I loved them. I remember their names and some facts. But the real stuff is gone. Just like it is for Nana, Daddy-Pa, & Mom.
