If you aren't using ManaPool as your go-to Magic Market over TCGPlayer, you should fix that immediately. I placed a sizeable order recently. I didn't even realize one of the sellers never sent, until I got an email from ManaPool telling me they'd already put in a replacement order, no cost to me.

Restoration of Eiganjo is one of those cards that I'm shocked I never see anyone else play. IMO it's an absolute staple white effect, and I run it in a lot of different decks. It ramps, it discards, it recurs threats, it spams the board with tokens, it does basically everything I want.

One of my favorite underplayed hidden gems. there's almost always a target, and it's often a really good one. 2U steal your Sol Ring is always great. Steals key voltron equipment. Steal a Skullclamp and it immediately cashes itself in for 2 cards. Just a great value creature all-around.

@gavinverhey.bsky.social Gavin, can you speak to why Muckslinger Gang has the "other than on the stack" clause? All of the all-zones typechangers just say "not on the battlefield". It's clear from "Creature spells" that it *does* affect the stack but the wording is leading to debate on that point.

Tickled by the idea of a The Great Goblin deck that feeds goblins into an organ grinder for value, so I drew that playing out while tinkering with the list (disclaimer: I am not an artist)

A smiling goblin is sticking halfway out of a large grinding machine while The Great Goblin sitting on a throne next to the machine turns the crank. Lorwyn Eclipsed daily builds #4 - Tam Tam is the opposite of Sanar. She easily enables vivid but makes you work for a payoff. There's only so many payoffs, but we run a lot of them, as well as a few other ways to enable it.

ECL Dailies #3 - Abigale Abigale was a tough nut to crack, maybe even more so than Sanar. While the other students all have activated and repeat-triggered abilities, Abigale is stuck with a one-shot ETB effect, and one that's mostly designed around nerfing enemy threats. Not the most fertile ground

Second Daily ECL Build - Samar! Sanar is a weird little guy. They've got a Vivid ability, which rewards you for playing multiple colors. But as a UR Commander, and with the Hybrid rules not changing, there's some pretty big limitations on this as you can't actually run other colors of spells.

In 2022 on Twitter I started doing daily deckbuilds for new commanders, doing all of NEO and SNC. I ended up dropping the project during Commander Legends Baldur's Gate because I couldn't find a configuration of Background + CAB Commanders I was happy with. I think I'll be starting this back up.

Unpopular (maybe) Opinion: Mycosynth Lattice should be a Game Changer. It's exactly the kind of card that people want to run because it has interesting interactions with lots of commanders, but the reality is that even if you aren't pairing it with mass artifact destruction, someone will.

An angle I don't see discussed enough: Arena is one of the biggest reasons for the recent Universes Beyond changes. Arena is Magic, but it's also a digital card game. And in a digital card game, 3 months is an eternity to wait for new content. Most have <2 months, sometimes 4-6 weeks.
