Longer commutes because of a slower train, and you feel trapped in potentially unsafe situations when the train is moving so slowly between stations. They really need to get those tracks replaced. 120

I’m aware of those, but from what older CTA operators have told me, those are articulated cars, which differ from open gangway cars. CTA abandoned those articulateds in favor of the married pairs we have now. 000

The loop primarily is where a lot of the turns are too tight for them, and since CTA prefer to have all equipment be able to function on every line, they’ve simply never been an option. 100
