Trump will be gone soon, but the bullshit will always continue. We will likely never achieve our potential as a nation, and I do believe we have a great potential, that of any other society in the history of the world, but we must address the systematic racism that our nation is founded on first.

Half of our electorate has always been dumb as shit, and life for anyone not middle class and white has always been a struggle. It is just now more in our faces. It doesn't help that dumber folks are currently running the show. Before there has been at least a veiled attempt at decorum.

I am of the opinion that it has always been this way, that this is nothing new, but we (white folks) are just now painfully aware of it. From the income inequality, racism, to general ignorance, none of it is new. Same as it ever was. Trump just personifies everything terrible, in a shitty suit.

I'm just glad that finally as a tall, reasonably good looking, straight white male, people are finally aware of my plight. I mean, I had to wait in line at the grocery store today, I was expected to obey traffic laws, AND I even had to go to work and not sexually harass female coworkers!!!

I am making lunch for my team at work. I have spent so much time, effort, and money over the last week. Ended up buying a double hotplate and new dutch oven to be able to make enough. Chicken and pork pinchos, habichuelas guisadas, arroz con gandules, and tostones. Really hoping everyone likes it.

Good morning beautiful people. Another wonderful day in the undefeated Chiefs Kingdom. Working from home today and trying my hand at smoked chili.

A 2 lb seasoned ground beef meat blob on a grate over a cast iron Dutch oven with other chili things inside, all inside of a PK Grill with an offset cooking set up with a mixture of briquettes and lump charcoal, and a couple pieces of cherry wood for smoke. There is a probe sticking out of the meat blob.
